  8. Disabled Children: A Legal Handbook  Written by Steve Broach, published by Legal Action Group and CDC.
  9. Cemented to the Floor by LAW a paper by Steve Broach which gives a detailed coverage of the legal duties that may be used to fight cuts to disabled children's service, some of it can be applied to adults too.
  10. Down's Heart Group a charity offering support and information relating to heart conditions associated with Down’s Syndrome.

  36. Equality and Human Rights Commission This commission has taken over from the Disability Rights Commission. You can find out more about the Equalities Act 2006 via this site.
  37. UK Carers This is a website with a noticeboard run by carers. It invites new members and is a campaigning group that wants to achieve a better deal for carers.
  38. Ask Cedric A consumer education website run by Cambridgeshire County Council with information for individuals, businesses and schools.
  39. Perennial Occupational charity for the horticulture industry. Works with those employed by, or retired from, the horticultural industry. Help includes welfare rights work, benefit entitlement, help with training costs, housing and debt advice.
  40. Holiday Care An independent charity which provides information about transport, accommodation, visitor attractions, activity holidays and respite care establishments, both in the UK and overseas, which enables people with all kinds of disability to holiday where possible in a mainstream environment.
